As we trecked north the coastal showers came west to greet us. Between Charters Towers and Marreba the rain forced several diversions further west. Eventually the rain cleared to allow a south-western approach to Mareeba.
Stoney Creek was cut off by passing showers necessitating an hour-long wait in Mareeba before we managed to get through and get home.
