After a stopover in Dalby we headed back toward the coast and Bundaberg

Boondooma Dam one of the waypoints.  Just before Gayndah.

After dodging some passing showers we made it into Bundaberg.

What turned out to be the highlight of the trip was the visit to the Jabiru factory.  They put on lunch, let us take their 4 seater for flights and showed us round their  airframe factory, engine factory,  test facility and  dispatch centre.
A few of us left there with serious thoughts about trading in aircraft and upgrading to the J 4000.

The dispatch centre where the kits are packed and sent off.

They are also in the process of developing a light helicopter. All composite (even the skids and struts) airframe.  Fenestron tail rotor and kevlar belt drives to cut down on weight.
